About the Project
NXT Group were tasked to apply polyurea lining on the internal surface of a cone-shaped CD Tank.
Each tank plate was abrasive blasted and coated with NXT Group HAR High-Abrasion-Resistant Polyurea at 3 mm nominal thickness for the upper tank plates and 6 mm nominal thickness for the lower plates.
NXT Group HAR High-Abrasion-Resistant Polyurea is widely used in the mining industry as a tough, abrasion resistant, impermeable membrane with fast return to service.
