NXT Coatings was engaged by V&D Engineering to apply surface treatment (internal lining and external coating) of Water Corporation Tank No.3 at Port Hedland Water Supply – South Hedland.

All redundant tank appurtenances were dismantled and the existing coating were stripped off utilising Ultra-High-Pressure Water-Jetting and Dry Abrasive Blasting processes.

A premium high-solids high-build glass flake surface tolerant epoxy coating system (Complies to AS/NZS 4020:2018) were applied on the tank internal surfaces, and a three-coat system (zinc primer, high-build epoxy and polyurethane topcoat) was applied as the external surface treatment.

NXT Coatings is well experienced and very capable of undertaking any surface treatment works, including tank internal lining and external coatings.
