ADMINISTRATION & MOBILISATION COORDINATOR

The Role:
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for providing administrative support to the CEO and other staff as required. We are seeking an enthusiastic & proactive person to assist in a fast-paced environment within a growing team.
- This role is Osborne Park, Perth based.
- Acting as first point of contact and handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence for the CEO.
- Organising the CEO's daily schedule and meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, discretion, sound judgement, high level of professionalism and confidentiality always.
- Managing mobilisation of employees including arrangements for all travel and accommodation.
- Maintain rostering ensuring accuracy for input and communications.
- Manage on-boarding process prior to personnel site attendance.
- Booking medicals and training as per NXT and client requirements.
- Compiling and auditing new employee documentation including qualifications and certificates.
- Recruitment administration support including reference checks, and other related HR information.
- Implementing employee engagement strategies through various channels.
- Maintain regular communication with our site teams, employees and talent pools.
- General office and administration duties.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others and influence to reach optimal outcomes.
- Utilising your high level of communication and interpersonal skills, you will liaise with candidates, site team members and client mobilisation teams as required.
- Recent experience within a mobilisation team at a contracting company to the mining / resource sector will be a distinct advantage.
The Requirement:
- Demonstrated experience within a similar role.

- Strong written & verbal communication skills with candidates and client.
- Knowledge of large resource company mobilisation software system (eg. INX).
- Experienced level of software skills for Microsoft Office.

The Role:
As a HSEQ Coordinator, you will be committed to championing our health & safety policies, procedures and methodologies, on all NXT Group jobs/sites across various projects within mining and resources environment. You will be responsible for working closely with our site team, implementing NXT Group's HSEQ requirements, Australian Standards, and other relevant standards, such as ISO, CSWIP, NACE (AMPP), ICorr, et, and leading by example.
This role is Perth based with regular site visit to mine sites as required.
The Requirements:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, and working closely with Divisional Managers, your responsibilities will include:
- The ability to confidently instruct and guide employees with regard to NXT Group policies, procedures, JSA's and SWMS.
- Deliver comprehensive on-site inductions.
- Review, manage and promote safe working practices at all times.
- Drive to attain ISO Certification asap currently in progress.
- Deliver a high level of verbal and written communication skills with trades and NXT staff.
- Speak clearly and fluently, with the ability to avoid creating conflict, effectively navigating high stress situations.
- Conduct tool box talks, project and site walk throughs with client representatives and NXT employees, and undertake various auditing and reporting processes.
- Provide periodic performance reporting to various levels within the business.
- Review of sub-contractors' HSE documentation such as SWMS and SDS control.
- Coordinate return to work in partnership with the injury management specialist.
- Assist in the development of policy and procedure framework as required.
- Prepare projects and personnel for 3rd party audits to ensure full conformance.
- Undertake all required training as determined by the business.
- Lead Critical Incident Investigations where applicable.
- Maintain a high level of competency with all company software systems.
- Contribute to business improvement processes.

Key Skills & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma of WHS or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 Years experience in a HSEQ Coordinator / advisory role or site supervisor role in Civil / Mechanical Remediation scopes within mining & resources sector, including asset preservation, corrosion protection, protective coatings, SMP projects etc.
- Experience in the development, implementation and management of HSEQ management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing workers compensation, including state legislation.
- Return to Work qualified.
- Proven ability to meet KPI's and project deadlines.
- Knowledge of the mechanical trade (advantageous).
- Professional, confident and highly articulate, with an innate ability to engage with multiple levels of stakeholders.
- Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS/NZS 4801, and ISO 14001.
- Current drivers licence (unrestricted).
- First Aid.

BLASTER PAINTER (YARD WORK)
What We Require:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in blasting, painting and protective coating works.
- Ability to apply coatings by both airless and conventional pumps.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment AND ongoing medicals and D&A screens.
- Experience working with Polyurea/Polyurethane Coating is an advantage.
- Current Driver’s Licence, Construction White Card, Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets are essential.
- HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift will be well regarded.
- Safety focused, good attitude and an excellent team member.
- A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
- Formal Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs) will be highly regarded.

PROJECT ENGINEER
CIVIL/MECHANICAL REMEDIATION SPECIALIST
The Role:
As a Project Engineer you will be working closely with our project team in variety of projects within mining environment, from preparing budget estimate / quotes, resource planning & scheduling, to project execution and quality assurance.
You will also be working within HSEQ requirements, Australian Standards, and other relevant standards, such as ISO, CSWIP, NACE (AMPP), ICorr, etc.
This role is Site based with an expectation that the project will predominantly be managed from site. We are flexible in this regard and would be happy to discuss the split between your time on site and your time in Perth.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Civil / Mechanical Remediation scopes within mining & resources sector, including asset preservation, corrosion protection, protective coatings, blast & paint, concrete repair, SMP works etc.
- Candidates must have a clean National Police Clearance and be able to pass pre-employment medicals and D&A screen.
- Experience in assessing RFQ, technical specifications and drawings, as well as preparing scope of work, TQ, and proposals.
- Experience in Project Management, including project planning, costing and scheduling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Projects, Excel, Words).
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
- Experience in liaising with clients and sub-contractors.
- A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
- Above average problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels from the coal face to the boardroom.

Boilermakers / Welders required for remote Goldfields site based works.
Primary tasks will be site based tank repair works, including:
- Tank floor replacements
- Shall patch repairs
- Tank nozzle repairs and / or replacements
Applicants must be able to sit welder qualifications to:
- AS1554.1 SP – 4F / 4G FCAW
- AS1554.1 SP – 4F / 4G MMAW
- ASME IX / AS 3992 – 5G / 6G
Our Project scope of works is ongoing large tank repair works across multiple sites – Long Term works, FIFO 3/1 roster, 13 day fortnight, 1 x RDO and 12 hr days (11.5 paid, 0.5 unpaid lunch).
Travel is paid 2 hours every fly day with camp accommodation and food provided.
Rates will be $60 - $65 per hour flat casual (or equivalent full time permanent rate).

What We Require:
- Trade certified Painter and Blaster.
- Experience in Protective Coatings scope within Mining and resources industries.
- Experience working with Polyurea/Polyurethane Coating / Foam is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting of spray equipment e.g. compressor, airless pumps, etc.
- Pro-active, can-do attitude, safety focus and excellent team member.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment AND ongoing medicals and D&A screens.
- Must have a clean National Police Clearance (NPC).
- Current Driver’s Licence, Construction White Card, Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift are essential.
